Attisano is one of Europe’s most respected sommeliers. Having trained in Italy in 2007, Attisano began his professional sommelier career in 2009 and has since held prestigious roles including Deputy Chairman of both the Italian Sommelier Foundation and the Worldwide Sommelier Association. Attisano is currently Brand Manager for the Italian Sommelier Foundation, Global Brand Manager for Bellini Holding and Wine Director for Sirreti Residences.
Attisano spent over two decades at Alitalia Airlines, faithfully serving the firm as Marketing and F&B Manager and Official Sommelier. Under his leadership, Alitalia’s wine program won multiple international awards including Best Inflight Wine Program and Best Airline Cuisine for nine consecutive years. He further served as head of wine selections for the Vatican Apostolic Flights from 2009.
Attisano consults globally for restaurants and often collaborates with Michelin-starred chefs. He also delivers lectures at universities and culinary institutions across Europe and remains a leading voice in elevating food and wine pairing to an art form.
